House panel invites woman who accused FHFA head of sexual harassment to testify

WASHINGTON—A House board respected a woman who has faulted holding up cash official Mel Watt for improper conduct to certify at a Thursday hearing where he is slated to discuss the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s old news.

Simone Grimes, a senior FHFA agent, “has been welcome to certify on Thursday pending a social affair with staff,” a delegate for the House Financial Services Committee said in a declaration.

Grimes has stated Watt, the FHFA’s official, possessed with “unwelcome and bothersome scurrilous signals” toward her and more than once settling her master progress to his sexual energy for her. She has recorded incitement and countering claims against Watt, searching for hurts and other help.

She is set to meet with both Democratic and Republican staff on the board Tuesday, her lawful guide said.
